Durable, Comfortable :)

"I've been wearing the Field Pants for about a year and they are holding up beautifully. I have a 47" hip and the XL fits super comfortably. I'm very pleased that the fabric in the thigh area is holding up really well, and hardly shows any signs of wear. That's a sure sign of a quality fabric in my eyes, if I'm not blowing out the crotch in one year of use!"

Best casual pants ever

"These are the best casual pants I have ever owned. The material is substantial but not stiff. The designers knew what they were doing--as opposed to so many ready-to-wear pants for women, these are cut to work for a variety of figures. My friend is slim-hipped with a straight torso, whereas I am always looking for a curvy fit. Miraculously, these pants fit both of us perfectly. The elastic in the back must be partly responsible. It is viuually subtle and does not detract from the style of the garment."

Amazing outdoor pants!

"Bought this in two colors because I love them so much. Sturdy but flexible, comfy, sits just right."

Excellent fit, construction, colors

"These pants are so well-constructed, so comfortable, and the colors are so lovely (I have the huckleberry and the green). I've basically stopped wearing other pants in fall/winter. They stretch out a bit throughout the day, but not to the point that they are saggy. I do wear a belt with these though! These pants also do a great job bridging functional and aesthetic - I can wear them on hikes/casual but also out to dinner. They run a tad bigger than the classic dirt pants, but I wear XS in both (122 lb, 5'5")."

Love these but

"I so badly wish the buttons were higher quality vs these plastic ones. Feels like they are already loose and I’m hoping they don’t fall off quickly. My only note!"

fave pants

"Basically my favorite pants. Comfy, flattering, unique. I love the subtle dusty purple of the huckleberry color. They stretch out a little with wear but not to the point that they look sloppy. Love the multiple belt loops. I'm a medium in other Topo pants and in other brands, and the medium fits great. They feel more durable than the dirt pants, too."

Claire (5/5)

Nice fit and design

"Love the fit!! It's rare for me to find a nice fitting pant. I am petite with an athletic build and narrow hips. anything with a front rise above 10. 5in is on my rib cage. Love the mid rise here, it sits perfectly on my hips, not too low but not rib cage high. I'm between sizes for the waist between XS and S (but xs for hips), ordered both and the XS aren't uncomfortable and are a nice fit, but the small also fit just with a baggier look. PLEASE MAKE IN 100% COTTON. In my experience elastic in the fabric composition feels nice but makes the pant wear out faster. inseam is too long for me at 5'2" so I'll need to hem. Would like a version of these without the elastic back too (though I still like these) but the utility pant by topo has a much higher front rise."

Reaching new heights

"These are my all time favorite pants right now. They fit so perfectly and I have so much movement. They go from causal wear to climbing and hiking easily. Just took these on a 10 day climbing trip and am so glad I did!"

Courtney (5/5)

Great addition to the dirt pants line

"Love that Topo made a women’s pant version with a button fly. Fit is great and high quality as always"

Lillian N. (5/5)

Usually a size 6 and

"Usually a size 6 and got a medium. I love the huckleberry color. My legs are on the shorter side, so I ordered them knowing they’d be a bit long, and I roll them but they would also be easy to hem. My only complaint is the button fly. I didn’t even think to check on that before ordering, ever since the zipper was invented I just assume there will be a zip fly. They’re fine to undo, but redoing them (especially with cold hands in the winter) is fiddly."
